The Spark by David Drake

On to the Asteroid by Travis s. Taylor and Les Johnson

Both are good books. Drake is Drake. Excellent in every respect. It based on Arthurian legend and is basically a coming of age story. The Taylor/Johnson book is hard science fiction about a crew of astronauts working to divert an asteroid from striking earth. No surprises in it but I liked it. Both are recommended.
