ATF shelves controversial bullet ban proposal

This doesn't sound like a surrender to me just a step back before coming at us again.

The ATF said it would instead wait until Americans have finished commenting on the federal regulations and evaluate their comments and suggestions before "proceeding with any framework."

You still can and should make public comment on the proposed ban. The deadline is March 16th.
