Sunday Afternoon at the Range

I have a Nikon FM I've had since about 1980. I like old fashioned film but now thirty some years later I finally ungraded to a Nikon D3100. I still like film but I gotta admit digital is very convenient. I took it to the range yesterday to play. It's going to take me a little while to get the hang of it but out of about 65 pictures I found a few that I liked.

The beautiful thing about digital, is that you don't have to be shy about taking a photo.

65? Next time take 650!

Besides, once they took away Kodachrome, film lost its appeal.

Not familiar with your new camera but in general the new digital stuff is pretty good. Though the ones that rival Kodachrome 64 in resolution are still too pricy for me.

The problem with 650 is sifting through them. 65 was bad enough. With film I always considered myself lucky to get two good pictures out of a roll of thirty.
