Bloomberg has begun a campaign against HR.822...

...the National Reciprocity for Concealed Carry. His argument is State's Rights. Where is your concern for "State's Rights" when you're pushing for, say, a Federal ban on high capacity magazines or another of your favorites, Mikey? Fucking hypocrite. Sebastian has more here.

Um, Interstate Commerce?

When I go from Georgia to South Carolina to the beach, spending money at hotels and restaurants, how is that not Interstate Commerce?

The argument that this is NOT Interstate Commerce, but forcing me to buy medical insurance that I can only buy from an in-state company IS Interstate Commerce, it only possible to believe in Liberalland.

National Reciprocity is a joke. What we SHOULD HAVE ALREADY is CONSTITUTIONAL CARRY throughout the U.S. and its territories and possessions. In other words, the Second Amendment PROTECTS an American citizen's FUNDAMENTAL HUMAN right to bear any arm they desire, openly or concealed at their discretion, anywhere from sea to sea and border to border except in TRULY sensitive areas (examples: Courthouses and Prisons where security is provided and everyone entering is searched/metal scanned etc. NO! Schools do NOT qualify!); loaded and available for immediate employment in the event of a spontaneous confrontation.

We DO NOT NEED National Reciprocity! We must insist on our right of CONSTITUTIONAL CARRY.

jmho, of course.
