Pictures of Dad

I've been thinking of my Dad and in a sharing mood. The first picture is Dad in the Philippines sometime late 1944 or early 1945. He mailed it to my Mom while he was overseas.
there's a purple "approved for mailing stamp" on the reverse side. In the second picture Dad is sitting on the porch wearing the hat. The people with him are friends and in-laws. Looks like they'd been doing some shooting, and yes the kid's breaking rule #2.
