I don't remember if I saw The Final Option on HBO or rented the video back around 1984 but I know I can't find a copy of it for an amount I'm willing to pay. I would really like to watch it again. The plot followed an SAS member infiltrating a terrorist group. The movies ends with the terrorists taking over the American Embassy and the SAS ending the seige. I understand the critics didn't like it much but I did. Here's a clip I found.

That movie was the cover story in Soldier Of Fiction when it came out.
I'd forgotten all the shooting from the hip. Sigh.
