I am thinking that the people who actually have unrealized capital gains know what she's talking about. The voters who have never seen an unrealized capital gain might recognize what she's talking about if everyone were to call it a "Paper Gain." SOME of those yahoos should know about the ephemeral nature of paper gains.
Yea, that's what I keep thinking...what happens when the market tanks and your "unrealized gains" become "unrealized losses"...do you get a refund for the taxes you paid on your imaginary gains last year?
