What could a woman who escaped from Vietnam on foot to Thailand with her mother and was raped on the way possibly know about oppression compared to a second-rate bartender from NYFC who STILL doesn't realize that even if the drunk at the bar has a Ph.D, SHE isn't an expert merely because she listened to him maundering while she plied him with drinks.
At a certain age we can all remember being over confident know-it-alls. We grew out of it or where disabused of the notion by our elders. AOC on the other hand...
