Armed Judge Shoots Assailant

A judge was ambushed in Steubenvillen, Ohio. The 65 year old judge was armed and returned fire hitting his assailant. A probation officer also fired on the assailant. The judge was hit but is in stable condition. His attacker wasn't so lucky. The attacker was the father of a young man convicted of rape but local authorities are unsure of motive. The judge did not preside over that case. UPDATE: He was overseeing a civil case involving the shooter.
