The finalists for the 2017 Hugo Awards have been announced. The only authors I recognized were Lois McMaster Bujold, Carrie Vaughn, John C. Wright and I haven't read any of the selections by them yet. I'm going to read what I like and the Hugo Awards can continue down the road to irrelevance.
