...Soft Target by Stephen Hunter. I'm only a few hundred pages into it but at the moment it's reading like an alternate history where the Prez when into law enforcement instead of community organizing with the expected results.
I have read all the Stephen Hunter books. Some of them (most are early book) are pretty simplistic, but all are good reads. I most like the Swagger and Cruz books, but like them all.
