Radley Blako provides
follow-up on the Columbia, Missouri
SWAT raid. The raid itself pissed me off. The reaction of the police department in the aftermath angers me even more. Balko's article makes it clear that there are Federal laws that set criteria for no knock service of a search warrant. In most States there are local laws that match the Federal laws. I think what we need now are laws that set criteria for the use of SWAT teams during warrant service.
