I needed to clarify my comment as it's somewhat ambiguous. I meant "Exactly" as in yes, even though the story took place in NZ, Big Govt in one area always finds a way to creep into other civilizations. What happened in NZ in the story is something that should never occur anywhere.
It's called a slippery slope and gun owners push back against it while the Left keeps pushing us downward as fast as their black little hearts can manage.
