Of course Florida maintains a database of and that information pops up when an operator's license or registration is run for Florida officers. It the same way in NC and I'm sure most other States. That information is also shared across State lines. The officer ran the plates and the fact that the owner had a CCW popped up.

So evidently Florida maintains a database of CCW holders; how did Maryland get into it, by invitation?
