I've given up on Sitemeter.

Anyone have any recommendations for a safe alternative. Google is showing a large number of views that are not consistent with the views noted for my individual posts. I need a reliable way to monitor traffic numbers.

    Statcounter is closer to Google on page views, and also gives unique visitors and returning visitors.
