NC H976: A Gun Prohibitionist's Wet Dream

Sean has language and analysis of H976 - Gun Safety Act here. If passed, this crap would reverse many of the gains we've made in North Carolina over the last few years. The sponsors are all staunch gun prohibitionists and among North Carolina's usual suspects. Unfortunately, one of them is my representative from Durham. I think my title for this post accurately sums the bill up. This is basically their wish list and so must be opposed. I don't think it has a hope in hell of passing with the Republicans in control of the House and Senate, but they've screwed us before. Call your Representative anyway and left them know what you want.
