I was reading this post by Bore Patch and recalled this quote.

Any man who is under 30, and is not a liberal, has no heart; and any
man who is over 30, and is not a conservative, has no brains.

It's been attributed to Winston Churchill but it's been around in one variation or another for a lot longer than Churchill.
