Coming Soon To A Gun Store Near You

DOJ Decrees Multi-Rifle Reporting In The Southwest
...and if you think for a moment they won't extend this rule to areas other than the Southwest you're a fool. This is just a taste of what's to come.

Why Are Gun Control Advocates Assholes?

I'm not a coffee drinker and if I were Starbucks' product is too expensive for my wallet on a continuous basis but I damn well will buy something from them this Saturday just to show my appreciation for their neutral stance on the gun issue and to thumb my nose at these assholes who just don't get it.

Al Franken is a...

...flaming asshole and a bully. He only acting true to form. I don't see that getting elected to the Senate has made a difference in his attitude. The people of Minnesota must be soooo proud.

Two Quotes Revisited...

America is at that awkward stage. It's too late to work within the system, but too early to shoot the bastards. - Claire Wolfe
With the forward movement of Health Care and the shenanigans it took to push it forward, its later than you think.

And...
No man's life, liberty, or property is safe, while Congress is in session. - Mark Twain
No further comment required.

I lied. Consider this a no confidence vote. Anyone who supported this travesty directly or indirectly needs to go. Kick those worthless bums in Congress to the fucking curb and start fresh with new elections. I don't care that their fucking terms aren't over. They've proven themselves either fools of enemies of the American people and the Constitution. They betrayed us and they have to go. Now. Midterm is too late.

Chuck Schumer [D-NY]: What a dick.

No argument from me on that one. Chuck Schumer is one of those "public servants" whose actions prove he considers himself a "public master". The rules, however stupid they may be, are for us not him or the bimbo sitting beside him on the plane.

South Carolina's tax holiday for the ...

...purchase of firearms is this weekend. This oughta save Bloomberg a few bucks when he sends his cronies down to South Carolina to make illegal straw purchases. And Michael Daly, if life was so great in New York City we wouldn't have so many "Damn Yankees" fleeing "paradise" for the South.

Waving the bloody shirt

Paul Helmke and those gits at the Joyce Foundation didn't wait long to start waving the bloody shirt did they. Helmke wants to kill a proposal by Sen. Richard Burr that would allow veterans adjudged mentally incompetant regain their rights after successful treatment. Some twit conected to the Joyce Foundation argued if military personnel with all their training and discipline can't be trusted with firearms civilians shouldn't be. Can't these people let the rest a bit or even more so let us get all the facts before they start dancing in the blood of innocents. I guess they can't let a crisis go to waste.

I guess they're not the enemy-enemy

We're in the middle of a fucking war in Afghanistan with the Taliban and the idjit in chief is apparently trying to redefine the enemy as maybe, well, not the enemy so he can justify not sending more troops as requested by the General on the ground. WTF!! I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Obama has made a career out of throwing people under the bus. Why should our troops in Afghanistan or the Afghanis be any different.

Bloomberg is at it again.

Mikey had investigators go down to Tennessee undercover to buy firearms at a gun show to buy guns illegally. If these investigators purchased these weapons as alleged they broke the law unless they were law enforcement officers within their jurisdiction. Mikey you know what you call a private investigator or law enforcement from New York City in Tennessee? Private citizen or fair game. I'd be interested what the ATF or state authorities in Tennessee do about this. I'm not holding my breath.

MSNBC has a piece on open carry...

...and I really don't have much to say about it. It is pretty typical of the source in its attempt to portray dissension among gun owners on the issue.

What caught my attention was a comment from Brady's Paul Helmke's comment
“I think the gun lobby is starting to lose its clout,” Helmke said.
Your wishing it Paul don't make it so. I think the "gun lobby's clout" is about where it always has been. The shenanigans the members of the Senate went through to avoid pissing off the NRA while still trying to kill the national carry amendment shows the clout they have and the clout you don't.

What an arrogant...

I was at the PC watching Full Metal Panic: the Second Raid while the news was on in the next room. I overheard a segment on Barney Frank's Town Hall Meeting today. He's an arrogant prick. It's not like we need any evidence of that. But his response to a question from someone in audience to the effect that he didn't negotiate with anyone who wasn't voting on the health care bill amazed me. What fucking arrogance. He has to realize that they will vote on health care come his reelection bid in 2010 and with any justice that arrogance will bite him in the ass.

Mob Rule

If you're a Libertarian, big L or small, a conservative Republican, or an Independent with a brain, then according to the Dems you're a "mob" under the direction of special interests. You're not smart enough to look at the Congressional binge spending driving the deficit so high that it makes George W and the Republicans look like pikers. You're not smart enough to understand it's a train wreck in the making. You're not smart enough to know that cap and trade and Obamacare are only going to bring the wreck about even quicker. You're not smart enough to know if this administration gets its way our freedom is gone. You're, according to the White House, an unthinking "mob". Telling your Representative why you are opposed to these freedom killing policies makes you a member of a "mob". Its not democracy in action. It "mob rule". Actually "mob rule" is what you've been practicing for the last eight fucking years you pusillanimous pieces of shit. What we're doing is "engaging in the democratic process". As voters we're making our elected representatives aware of our positions on the issues. We're letting them know the consequences of their voting habits. We're obviously doing an effective job of it or you wouldn't show your fear by using tactics of this sort, but you know if you want ot call us a mob, go ahead. In 2010 this mob is coming for you.

Paypal is anti-gun.

Kevin Baker arranged to donate a firearm for a raffle with the proceeds to go to Project Valour-IT. Arrangements were made with Soldiers' Angels to provide on-line ticket sales through Paypal. Apparently things were moving along wonderfully when Paypal pulled the plug. Why? The gun raffle. I'd never really given it any thought but since the parent company, eBay, is virulently anti-gun I should of expected Paypal would be as well. Go here to get the details. You can also call Paypal at (402) 935-2050 and voice your opinion or call 'em a dick. If you want to participate in the raffle you can...
...call Soldiers' Angels and do a transaction over the phone. During normal business hours (PST) you can call (626) 529-5114, or you can call their voicemail service any time at (615) 676-0239, leave them a callback number and they'll get back to you...
I don't know if the phone calls to Paypal to make any difference. The only way Paypal normally pay any attention is if you hit 'em in the pocketbook with a boycott. A year ago I'd of given it a hope in hell but with the current economy who knows. Also, this is a good cause but money has been tight, even $10 hurts, and I hadn't planned to participate. Now I will find the money to buy a ticket if only to thumb my nose at those fucktards at Paypal. I hope those of you reading this will do the same.

"Etholution in action"

I can understand corruption; simple venality is easily fathomed: A person with a broken moral compass (or none at all) sees ethical behavior as mere obstacle, so he finds a way to squirm around it to get what he wants anyway.

But what offends me most about nearly every act of political corruption is the sheer stupidity of it: Nine times out of ten, by acting unethically, the corrupt damage themselves far worse than if they'd simply done right. Call this "etholution in action," or perhaps the third law of ethical physics: For every unethical action, there is an opposite and equal (or greater) backlash.

Let's legalize dueling...

...and maybe we'd see the end of harassment like this. That or if your ethics complaint gets kicked to the curb you pay the legal fees for the person you accused? Then again, dueling. That's the ticket.

Fucktards.
